As we kick-start 2025 off, and as a twenty-something copywriter, I feel it's only right if I give my input in my favourite markeiting moments of the year so far.

Here are my to 3 favourites of the year so far:

  1. Amelia Dimoldenberg partnership with Bumble.

This partnership is a no-brainer—seriously, could there be a better fit? Amelia Dimoldenberg, the queen of dating, teaming up with Bumble to share her golden rules of dating is nothing short of genius. Her witty, awkward charm aligns perfectly with Bumble’s fun, modern approach to dating, making this collaboration feel effortlessly authentic. A match made in marketing heaven!

  1. Rhode Skin

The PR team of Rhode Skin has completley shifted their negative feedback about the brands from a few weeks ago and turned it into only amazing content. The brand has shifted into a 90's aesthetic with their latest campaign for their new lip liner range, blending both nostalgia and current trend of using influencer marketing (and I'm not just bias because they used one of my favourite singers- Tate McRae), but it just works. With photography that perfectly emulates what the 90's were all about it all ties in perfectly with the brand, and I love it!

  1. Kellogg's OG rooster

We all know Kellogg’s! Their latest billboard campaign brilliantly reinforces their status as the OG by cleverly zooming in on the “OG” within KellOGg’s. It’s a simple yet highly effective concept that perfectly leverages their iconic branding. With their signature colors, recognisable font, and a logo that’s instantly familiar to consumers, no other brand could have pulled this off so seamlessly. This campaign is a perfect example of how strong branding—built on decades of recognition—can be used creatively to make a bold, memorable statement with minimal effort.

As we move further into 2025, it's exciting to see how brands continue to innovate and connect with audiences in fresh, engaging ways. From clever partnerships to standout campaigns, there’s so much to appreciate in the world of marketing this year.
